Frances Gardens is located in the beautiful town of Sooke. A small town of 13k tucked 38 km away from Victoria. Our town motto is “where the rainforest meets the sea“. Originally Sooke was a logging and fishing town and as such most of the residents of Sooke live near the ocean. We also have the T’souke nation, First Nations people with strong ties to community and culture. Our people enjoy many outdoor activities: hiking, fishing, off road riding, biking, sports to name a few. We also are lucky enough to have many local parks, trails and forests.
Frances Gardens Housing Cooperative society is a 36 unit duplex -style homes.
Sooke has three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. It is an excellent and safe place to raise a family.
We have two fully appointed grocery stores, a recreation center with swimming and ice, and may small unique shops with local artwork and crafts.
Sooke is serviced by BC transit.
